these red berries were found all over the St. Edward's campus, and their bright hue reminded me of the beautiful double doors photographed above. I thought the arched shape of this bundle of berries matched that of the doors.

the rusted stairs photographed close-up in the top picture were a unique contrast to the gothic architecture at St. Edwards. I thought the moss located between the cracks of the pavement mimicked the rust on the stairs.
