assignment #1: breaking the surface

     

assignment plans

1. cracked porcelain portraits- I will be taking photos in the studio (possibly sometime in class next week) and using photoshop to make their faces look cracked kind of like a cracked porcelain doll. If you look this up it may be more clear what i'm going for.

2. another portraiture assignment with people and nature. It will be shot in the studio (maybe after school bc it may take a little while?) and i will be putting flower petals, artificial insect wings, etc. onto peoples faces. it's hard to explain but i have a whole pinterest board of ideas lol :-)

3. double exposure! I can probably take the head shots the same time i do my first assignment and i will take landscape/scenery photos outside of school. I will use photoshop to create the double exposure effect. i put this one last so that i can give myself enough time to edit them.

my models will be Ava Nielsen, Hope Milne, and possibly Ashley Smith or anyone else who wants to do it!
